University of Melbourne Media Manager appointed

Lucy Powell has been appointed the University of Melbourne Media Manager.

A highly skilled communication professional, Lucy has extensive experience in corporate communications, external relations and reputation management.

Prior to joining the University, Lucy co-owned PR firm, Perception PR & Marketing in Christchurch, New Zealand, before taking on the role of Senior Consultant at Porter Novelli Australia.

During her career, Lucy has also managed corporate communications for multi-national technology company, Microsoft NZ, led communications at Auckland International Airport and worked in North America for Air New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand.

Lucy will commence at the University on Monday, 4 February 2019.
