The Western Centre for Health Research and Education is a partnership between Western Health, the University of Melbourne and Victoria University that will transform Sunshine Hospital into a tertiary hospital. The landmark facility was officially opened on June 7 by the Hon Nicola Roxon MP, Federal Minister for Health and Ageing and the Hon David Davis MP, Victorian Minister for Health and Minister for Ageing.
