The role of the processed food, tobacco and alcohol industries in tackling lifestyle diseases comes under scrutiny today in a paper published in the Lancet.

As a prelude to the United Nations Heads of State meeting in September, this year's Forum brings together global leaders on non-communicable diseases, (cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and lung disease) the leading causes of death, disability and preventable morbidity across the globe.
