Former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser will be awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws from Melbourne Law School at the University’s final graduation ceremony for 2011.

World-renowned sitar player, composer, teacher and writer Ravi Shankar will receive the University of Melbourne’s highest honour -   the degree of Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) - at a special conferring ceremony at the University today (Friday 19 March).
